Indeed, Deb. Even though we have so many other ways to connect now, Skype is pure nostalgia in the best sense. Those days it was expensive phone calls vs free Skype. I remember a friend of mine who had just started dating someone talked on the landline for hours into the night. When the monthly bill arrived, her dad let her hear it. I recall suggesting Skype and well, long story short, everyone was happy!
So true! Skype revolutionised long distance communication. At this time of everything feeling too easy and too fast, that gave me a big dose of nostalgia.
Oh my gosh Vidhya! This is so beautiful ❤️! I am not the Skype generation (gmeet and zoom)... but it feels like an end of an era isn't it? Something that deeply connected world's together!
Beautiful Vidya! This brought back so many happy memories back. Can’t forget Skype calls. It was blessing those days when doing video call was such a luxury.
Amazing to consider how times have changed, right? You captured it all so perfectly here, and made me feel wistful and nostalgic.

I know! Ditto here. I actually felt a bit tearful to see their email.
