Just like the worry box you made yesterday, there are some thoughts that are not really worries but nevertheless, irritate and distract us.
One way to tackle this is by free writing. Why not start your day by setting aside a few minutes to pour out these thoughts on paper?
As you write, donβt worry about it being neat or orderly. Simply scribble them out. Then, affirm that you are setting them aside so that you can focus on what you need to do for the day. Β
In case random thoughts nag you (they will!) when you are busy working, simply take another sheet of paper. Write what comes to mind.
There will come a point when your mind is trained to focus on what you need to do and let go of these unnecessary random thoughts.

This is such great advice. My 14 year old daughter has started journaling her thoughts and is finding great benefits from it.
